Lake Eola Heights Historic Neighborhood Association

PLEASE HELP OPPOSE THE CHANGE OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!

The city is ready to approve the change of the property bounded by Ridgewood, Cathcart, Summerlin, and Robinson.  This would allow the building of 2 highrises which would increase traffic, take away from the feeling of the street as part of an historic neighborhood, further block our streets so ingress and egress to our own residences will be difficult.  It will also block light, breezes and view of lake eola park..the namesake of our neighborhood!

With all the empty lots along I-4 and along Orange Ave you think City officials would be pushing development there not in the residential districts. That kind of development would be in keeping with the character of the area not a highrise on top of a street of homes.
