While the garden tour has been a great success in the past, we must not let it get stale. Moving it to every other year was a good idea. Why not also do a private tour at night? The lighting would create a different aspect to the landscaping and hide any imperfections. Each garden could possibly serve wine and maybe even a light selection of food. Limit the number to maybe five spectacular gardens and charge a higher price for the ticket and have the youth symphany playing. Just a thought.

A very good thought it is! I have heard "over the garden fence" that an evening tour is being considered this year to off-set the lost spring tour. It would also build on what is in place. I'm sure info will be forth coming.  Good idea!
