Recent Problems in neighborhood

One of our residents recently had their door bell rung one morning and a black person claimed to be soliciting for "the Y and NCSU". There was a vehicle parked on the street with two additional persons in it. After a short conversation they left. Apparently they went next door where they did not get a response to the door bell. Later that evening the first resident's door bell rang again but when the door was answered there was noone at the door, nor was there a vehicle noticed on the street. This incident was reported to the police.

Apparently there has recently been a breakin on Mountain Brook-it may hve been noted in last week's N&O.

Everyone needs to take note of these incidents and keep their eyes open and doors locked.
