Boise Police warn of door-to-door scam artists

HOA Board,

Please update our fellow homeowners about the potential criminal activities of door to door solicitors. I am sending this to you because of the solicitor that was eating his sandwich on Mandi's landscape blocks this evening. The vast majority of the Out-of-State solicitors are scams, seeking to obtain checking information, perform burglaries, etc.. This is evident, by that same solicitor not soliciting at my house, and most likely skipping Lt. Brian Zimmerman's house as well.

Please provide our neighbors with a warning, and encourage them not to accept solicitations. This is for the safety of everyone in the neighborhood.

Although it seems obvious, I want to ensure that you don't misinterpret this as including Girl Scouts, Local Sport Fun Raiser, etc..

These guys match the description of solicitors harassing people by pressuring them into purchases, among other crimes.
