"Power2" has been innovative in its efforts to implement energy-efficient initiatives, designed to make Charlotte a true national energy leader.  Our vision collectively promotes efficiency education, environmental quality, and economic vitality.  It is a goal that is a top priority, and crucial to Charlotte's future as the new energy capital.

The Department of Energy has urged that the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant money should be used as starter funds for projects that will live on once the funding is exhausted. The City of Charlotte is accomplishing this by getting our residents and businesses interested and involved in the "Power2" campaign. Its diverse range of valuable projects and programs are the foundation of energy efficiency that will drive a conversation in Charlotte for years to come.
