Here is a link below to Valley Metro in case others are concerned about the city buses that are speeding through the neighborhood. They have been rerouted due to the current detour from the Oak closure down Virginia Ave. from 56th to 48th Street. To stay on schedule they are traveling at about 40 MPH or more and the speed humps don't even affect them. Is it particularly dangerous at 53rd place where the Virginia narrows to one lane, as they coming flying into the wider area and can not be seen coming by the kids on bikes. Valley Metro requires you register with a email address and password then there is a feedback form which can be filled out and sent with comments. We suggested that they detour the buses up to Thomas Rd. where the speed limit is higher and there are no children playing in the streets without sidewalks!   http://www.valleymetro.org/Valley_Metro/Contact_Us/index.htm
