Our New Park on Touchton - What do you/we want it to be?

Opportunity knocks - We must act

Along with the construction of homes, apartments, and commercial areas on both sides of Touchton Road to the east of Southside Blvd., a park is planned. In the northeast quadrant of the Touchton Road and Southside Blvd intersection 37.5 acres will be set aside for a park for all of us to enjoy. It will be handled by the City of Jacksonville Parks and Recreation Department. Planning and design will begin soon. We can have an impact on how its done.

Together we stand

GHANA, Secret Cove, Bridgestone, and several other neighborhood organizations are gearing up to work together. So far we have three in our area who wish to join in this PARK PLANNING Task Force.
