GCCA, Inc. is the officially recognized and registered neighborhood association representing the community within our boundaries. We make decisions on land use and other public policy issues affecting the residents and businesses in the area. Our Board members are elected from our general members each March and officers are elected from the Board of Directors.
Our IRS nonprofit status may be reviewed at the IRS webpage where our organization is registered. We are a 501(c)(3) organization, formed in 1990 and reorganized in 1993.
In 1999 we expanded our boundaries south to I-70/Airport Expressway (Raymond St.)to become an 'umbrella' organization made up of smaller distinct neighborhood organizations as they form and represent their own interests.

This organization will only prosper and be able to fulfill its service to the neighborhood with your support and input. Join today and get involved in a project of your own interest or one of our standing issue groups.
Thatcher Park is one area we are devoted to, and have an advisory council to provide direction to the parks dept. on issues pertaining to our park. Another major focus is improving West Washington St.
