Fall Events Planned

With the start of school and the end of summer approaching, it's time for a few Fall events that are in the process of being finalized.

Franklin Estates Garage Sale

Get ready to clean out the clutter for the Garage Sale which is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th from 8 a.m. to noon.

This year, there will be NO participation fee since the Pennysaver owes us a free ad due to a mistake that was made last year. Having free newspaper advertisements will significantly cut down on the time involved in planning this year's event.

A couple of volunteers are still needed to help put up signs in the area. Please contact me at FranklinEstates@hotmail.com to help.

Business Meeting

Rich Mickel(FERA President) and myself will be resigning from our respective Board positions at the next meeting. With our resignations, there will be no Board members remaining. Nominations and voting will take place for new Board members at this meeting. It is very important for interested volunteers to attend this meeting. Without any volunteers, the future of FERA is in jeopardy and will go into dormancy. We have a couple individuals who have expressed interest in becoming members. However, if we have not heard from you, please contact me and/or attend the meeting which is in the final stages of planning.

The dates we are looking at for our annual meeting include: 9/21, 9/25 or 9/26. Once we finalize our agenda and meeting place, we will let you know.
