Forest Pond HOA

My family and I are looking into the Forest Pond Neighborhood and from observing it it seems to be a nice and quiet family oriented neighborhood.  Could someone who is a current resident give me there opinion of the /neighborhood and whether you think is it a great neighborhood for a family with children.  Thanks a lot!

if you are still considering moving here or have moved, welcome and/or congratulations.  The neighborhood is quiet enough, depending which end of the neighborhood you live.  As always just take whatever precautions necessary to ensure the safety of you and your family, i.e. alarm sytem, fence, lighting, etc.  

While i feel mostly safe, shortly before I moved here, almost two years ago I checked charmeck.org for crimes around the area, and was disheartend to find that there was a murder a few 100 feet away from my home not even a year prior. After inquiring with a neighbor i was informed that a teenager living in the area allowed rif-raff and drama to follow them home which resulted in the fatality

My home was broken into a year after i moved in, and I was robbed at gunpoint by three assailants.  i still live here but i have taken measures to ensure my safety.  it could just be the side of the neighborhood that i am on.  the further down Nevin you go seem nicer to me.
