Please attend District 14 Meeting this Wed, March 20, to discuss flooding

Posted in: Valley Village Trustees

Valley Village roads have been re-paved higher than the storm drains.  Every time it rains, the water has no where to go and is causing flooding.  This a huge mess for the residents that live there.  After each rain, ankle-high water stands for several days in the driveways and yards in Valley Village.  Please attend the District 14 Metro Council Meeting this Wed., March 20, 7-9 pm, at Valley High School's Conrad Bachmann Auditorium to discuss this topic.  As a group, we need to stand together and ask our county's leaders and the folks at MSD to address this situation.  They should be required to fix this problem caused by repaving the roads higher than the storm drains/sewers.  The residents of Valley Village did not cause this mess and should not have to live this way.  (Isn't this why we pay taxes?)   Please help us by attending the meeting on Wednesday.
