Did you know there is such a thing as the Mayor?’s Action Center? The City of St.. Petersburg provides many services free of charge. The Mayor?’s Action Center can be reached at 893-7111, or online at www.stpete.org. They promise a quick response, and having used the service for sidewalk repair, we can say it works!

Some of the services the City provides include:
?· asphalt street and alley repair
?· brick street and alley repair
?· curb and gutter repair
?· pavement markings
?· street and traffic sign repair
?· drainage and catch basin maintenance
?· manhole maintenance
?· street sweeping
?· street resurfacing
?· sidewalk repair
?· graffiti removal
?· removal of dead trees from right-of-way
?· trimming of tree limbs over streets for clearance
?· debris in street and alley right-of-ways

And...
?· Did you know the city will pick up large trash items. Call Sanitation at 893-7398 for pick up.
?· You can get free mulch delivered to your home for a $25 dollar fee. Again, call Sanitation for the paperwork!
?· Did you ever wonder what the City is doing with those historical hexagonal bricks that used to be our sidewalks? Residents can purchase up to 50 per month at $1.45 per block. Call the Action Center for more information!
