What's the charge/penalty for destroying a redlight camera?

If it's a misdemeaner, maybe we could organize a "club" of anti-redlight camera citizens.  Pool our money (dues would have to be a small percent of any individual redlight running fine).  Take turns "decommissioning" the redlight cameras.  Pay the fine from the club's funds.   Maybe cheaper than waiting to pay the redlight fines + it might be fun + it's kind of "dont tread on me" behavior don't ya think?  Would only work if its a misdemeaner and we are nuts enough to do it.

those redlight cams are a joke....i heard a guy up  in davenport gripe about it....because they go after the owner of the car since in some cases the owner may NOT be the driver....so im guessing this leaves some room for a fight in court.....
