 OK, This must have been posted by Jerry. Based on the 2 hour phone conversation I had with you, obviously you have your own ideas about everything. There is soooo much you have wrote here that is totally wrong that I just can't hash it out with you anymore. I don't know how many times I have to say it, THE NEIGHBORHOD ASSOC NEVER NEVER NEVER CALLED PARKWISE TO DO "SWEEPS". Good grief. Can't we spend our precious time working toward a solution to this problem? I just can't deal with anyone who is so combative so work with me here. Tell me what you would like to see changed ( in writing ) and we can try to get a sarting point here.

Please see my post about the city ordinances from Ricardo Martinez of ParkWise ... it seems to me that some blocks may qualify for a Temporary Revocable Easement from the city. Do you agree?

I do hope we can come to some amicable solution to this problem.

I know that I don't have the cash to remodel my lot to create additional off-street parking and I'm guessing many of my neighbors are in the same predicament.

I realize that the next meeting is intended to elect new officers and there may not be time to cover the parking issue ... but perhaps another meeting could be scheduled fairly soon?

By Bev  homework and I love that. Temporary Revokable Easements might just be the answer.  Why don't we set a meeting to discuss this issue and this alone. I think it would take the better part of the meeting on Monday and we do have to follow the agenda so we have minutes, elections etc... all to fit in by 8:00.  Everyone needs to have a chace to speak and offer their suggestions so a separate meeting would be the answer.

Apologies everyone, but as Wendy said ... this meeting's agenda was too crowded already. A meeting specifically to address the parking issue is a good idea.

Temporary Revokable Easements might be the answer. The other thing I hope someone can find out is just how the easements are set in Tucson, because ours seem unusually broad at 14 feet. Surely pedestrians don't require 14 feet?

I know that in my last neighborhood (not in Tucson) the city owned 16 feet on either side of the center line of the roadway. That measurement would give us room to park a small car and still not encroach on the area owned by the city, not so? I find it hard to believe that the city would own the 27 feet roadway, plus an additional 14 feet on either side ... totaling 55 feet!
