Reason several of the parents picking up children at Collinswood stopped following the schools directions for evening pickup. They had been told to stay off the first block of Londonderry coming off of Tyvola in the evenings.
Instructions are to go down to Farmbrook and join the end of the lineup on Chedworth Drive. The last couple of weeks several parents had been cutting the line by not getting in the lineup properly. They would cut the line at the All Stop at Chedworth and Londonderry Road. That was not fair to the other parents waiting as directed down Chedworth Drive and it started to cause traffic issues again with cars backing all the way back to Tyvola on Londonderry.
The principal and the resource officer were very responsive. The officer came out today to attempt to get the parents to follow their pickup instructions. It will probably take a few more visits and then random visits to keep them lining up and not causing so much disruption on Londonderry and Tyvola.
