Fences?

Posted in: Dilworth Chase

I recall a good while ago signing a petition to allow home owners to install the 6ft privacy fences around the property...I was wondering if this was passed by the board or not.

ALso I need to install a fence(regardless of which type) and I was wondering what steps do I need to take to get this approved? Aside from getting a land survey done (what type of survey do I even need?) what other steps do I need to complete? I have looked up and down on the site but can't find anything documenting the necessary steps and approval!

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

I agree!  I have been waiting for a while to pass the 6ft fence around the property.  Can someone please reply or answer this Post.

I will be really shocked if someone answers this post.  The current HOA board members don't care about the members of this community.  They only care about enforcing the "rules," which lets them be in control of you and everyone else that lives here.  Every neighborhood that surrounds us is nicer, but we have the strictest rules.  That is total B.S.  Our "president" doesn't even live in the neighborhood; she just visits from time to time.  The HOA should be disbanded so that we can be a real neighborhood, without all of the nonsense.  That's why no one wants to pay the HOA fees.  Don't beg for permission to do things to YOUR property.  Just do it and don't worry about it.  Smile

I totally agree with "vincentvega" about all the BS we have to put up with this HOA. I came to know that Mallard Woods community are using the same HOA company and they are tired too tired of all the BS this HOA company give them. That's the main reason they have around 70 to 80% rental homes. People got tired of them and they moved on. They can't sell their houses in this market so luckly for them, they rented their houses.

I wouldn't be supprised if people started doing the samething here in our community.
