2008 INFORMATION & SCHEDULE

Join the Parenting Co-op!

What is the Co-op?
It’s a group of parents who fund and plan the following six neighborhood parties. It’s also a great way to get involved, build a sense of community and get to know your neighbors better! The dates for the 2008 parties are:

¨ Easter Egg Hunt – Saturday, March 15th (Rain date: Sunday, March 16th)
¨ End of School Party – Friday, May 23rd
¨ Coventry Camp Out – Saturday, August 16th (Rain date: Saturday, August 23rd)
¨ Back to School Breakfast/Afternoon Pool Party – Tuesday, August 19th
¨ Halloween Party – Saturday, October 25th
¨ Christmas Party – Friday, December 12th

Welcoming and Hospitality!
Amy Krza is coordinating meals for families with new babies, illness, deaths in the family, etc. Amy Geist is welcoming new neighbors.

Who should join?
Anyone who enjoys attending these fun community get-togethers with neighbors, kids and grandkids!

How do we join?
¨ Pay your annual fee of $45.00 per family by February 15th. (Make checks payable to Parenting Co-op.)
¨ Sign up to help with one of the parties as a committee member or chair. (Use the attached registration form.)

What does it include?
¨ Six wonderful neighborhood parties for you and your kids!
¨ Parties include food, drinks and entertainment for the entire family!
¨ Some highlights include:
o A delicious breakfast on the first day of school!
o Roasting marshmallows with all your neighbors at the campout!
o A Halloween Party with spooky activities and treats!
o Horse and carriage rides around Coventry and a visit from Santa at Christmas!

If you have older children or grandchildren who would like to attend just a few of the parties, we welcome donations of any amount to support these events!

Please return your registration and check to Lori, Beth or the front gate by February 15th.

(Parenting Co-op will provide volunteers to help Coventry’s Social Committee with the Fourth of July party.)

Note: Chairs will receive a budget and detailed instructions from previous parties
along with an inventory of supplies. Chairing a party is easy, fun and not a
huge time commitment!
