A terrible thing happened in our neighborhood Halloween weekend.
Two cats that are allowed to roam the neighborhood got into rat poison and tragically died.
PLEASE be a responsible cat owner and keep your loved felines inside. We want all our animals to live in a happy, secure environment.
There is another danger to these precious animals: there is a coyote roaming the alleys between 32nd and 33rd streets (between Wilmot and Craycroft).

I agree totally! I just joined and read your message posted back in Nov of 99, do you know if the coyote is still around? My husband and I built a screen room off our back porch, it's really easy in this subdivision because we have the roof and concrete to begin with, just some 2X4's, screen and a door or two, my 2 cats are very happy with it and we have peace of mind. Plus it's a nice room addition! Thank you for your comments on keeping cats indoors
