Since I am "in between" jobs, I have a few ideas and an interest to be involved in the WW community.  I would like to give back to the community such as our Police & Fire men and would be interested in a bake day a month to show appreciation.

For our senior citizens, we could provide contact numbers to call for those times when they need assistance, emergency delivery or a ride, or simple questions.

I'm sure all of us have special skills that we could share.  I have computer skills that I would be willing to meet at the Rec or library and tutor for free.

There is so much empty retail space in the shopping center that could be used for a community garage sale if someone had negotiation skills!  After all, they are paying rent on empty space.  We could charge $5 to participate which collectively could be used to pay several people in the neighborhood to run it for several days possibly once a month.
