Cleaning up our premises

Posted in: Coco Palm

As we continue to struggle with our association dues, it was suggested that each renter or homeowner will be responsible in cleaning some of our common areas. This of course will only be temporary until we have enough funds. Please let us know what you think, some have already done their part and we are very grateful to have them make our dwelling place in optimal condition.  Thanks....

Dear Condo Association: I am a resident of the Coco Palm Condominium located at 3071 SW 27 Avenue, Miami, Florida 33133. The Waste Management Company has failed to pick up the trash at our dumpster for the past two weeks. I called Waste Management myself and spoke to a supervisor named Brad (305-471-4444) who informed me that I am unable to make a request since I am not part of the Condo Association, which by the way, the number on the account has not been updated. They have been trying to reach someone at the Condo Association but since the number doesn't work, you probably do not know about this issue. The trash is overflowing and taking over the back of our building. Supposedly, Waste Management came by to pick up the trash today but was unable to do so because there was a Jeep blocking their path. This Jeep parks in the back of the building, as that is their parking spot. This issue needs to be resolved as soon as possible. The trash just keeps on piling up and the next service date is next Tuesday July 10. Brad mentioned that if one of you call them today and verify yourselves as the Condo Association, they can schedule another pick-up for today. Please schedule another pick-up for today and please make sure that the Jeep and/or any other vehicles are not blocking their path. Another issue is a beeping noise that is coming out from a locked door located behind the washer/dryer area. This has been beeping for the past two months straight, and no one has come to take care of this issue. I take pride in where I live and refuse to be living in these conditions. I hope that you are able to do something about these issues, first and foremost the accumulating trash! Thank you. This was sent directly to: cocopalmcondo@gmail.com on July 3, 2012. I do not have any contact information other than this for the Condo Association, nor do I know who sits on the Board.
