Anyone out there have any fundraising ideas????

How about a big yard sale? I raised $350 for a friend in need by asking for donations and then selling them at a big yard sale.

I bought out many items from Pearl Artist and Craft a few years ago at their liquidation sale.  I have 800 really nice  colorful boxes of beautiful stationery with envelopes and stickers, with a scripture on the stationery. 

 

Mostly are Old Testament with a childlike theme of Noah's Ark, with animals.  The scripture says:  "The Lord is Good to All" Psalm 145:9

 

Another Old Testament just has flowers with the scripture:  "The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord." Psalm 33:5

 

A third theme is a cute kitten and it is NEW TESTAMENT, with scripture:  "The kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21

 

Each box is in brand new condition, containing 32 5-1/2" x 8" sheets of paper with the scripture, 16 matching envelopes, 16 matching stickers.  

 

This is a vintage item BEFORE cell phones!

 

In Walmart a similar retail would be about $12.  I am willing to consider any offer, possibly setting up at end of service at a larger congregation likely to purchase all boxes at a donation price, and I will split the proceeds with your church.
