Hello fellow Montefino Village homeowners,


This morning on the Today Show on NBC, they announced a recall by General Electric on their built-in dishwashers built after 1997. Apparently the liquid rinse-aid can leak from its dispenser onto the dishwasher's internal wiring which can cause an electrical short and possibly fire.


For the list of model numbers and serial numbers, go to www.todayshow.com then go to Viewer Resources in the lower right column and click on 'GE recalls dishwashers due to fire.' I found our dishwasher's numbers listed on the recall.
