Canyon Retreat Neighbors

Hello, I am the newest member of our Ahwatukee Foothill Village Planning Committee (VPC). I live here in Canyon Retreat. I hope my background will contribute to our committee and the issues we will be confronting in the next year. I am a environemental planning consultant. I received my Masters in Environmental Planning from ASU and have a BS in Business. I hope that the issues that are confronting our community in the next year will draw more people to become active participants in the future of our community. The monthly meetings are the last Monday of each month at 6:00pm in the Senior Center at 51st and Elliot.
We need your supposrt and input as the committee attempts to preserve our last significant parcel of State Trust Land and also attempts to determine the needs of the community on the proposed Pecos Parkway. We need to hear what the community wants and they need to give our VPC physical support by showing up at the meetings. If anyone has questions please feel free to e-mail me. I will repsond promptly.

Is there any way to get the VPC meetings moved to a bigger place? The June meeting was so overcrowded I couldn't get in the door!
