Dust off those hiking boots! Park rangers with the Parks and Recreation Department are offering a series of guided outdoor programs to get Phoenicians into Phoenix?’s beautiful mountain parks and preserves.
Many of the programs are free, but some may charge a nominal fee. Registration is required.
The programs include a petroglyph discovery hike at South Mountain Environmental Education Center, an outdoor class on basic orienteering, and a sports chair/wheelchair users?’ outing with friends at Papago Park.
