The fact that school is out means there are a lot more juveniles out and around and not inside doing homework in the evenings. A seasonal reminder about curfews: it is unlawful for any juvenile less than 16 years of age to be away from home between 10 P.M. and 5 A.M. unless accompanied by a parent or guardian, on an emergency errand, or on a reasonable/legitimate/specific activity permitted by parent or guardian.
It is unlawful for any juvenile more than 16 years of age, but less than 18 years of age, to be away from home between midnight and 5 A.M. unless emancipated, accompanied by a parent or guardian, on an emergency errand, or on a reasonable/legitimate/specific activity permitted by parent or guardian.
