Phoenix Libraries Host Hands-On Science Workshops for Kids

What do strawberries, bacteria, jellyfish and humans all have in common? With Satellite Science, the answer to this, and other puzzlers, is as close as your neighborhood library.
Satellite Science is a series of hands-on workshops conducted by high-school students who have been trained by the Arizona Science Center. The free workshops, which begin in September and continue through December, target middle school students but all youths may participate.

The workshops explore: ?“Discovering DNA,?”
?“Incredible Desert Plants,?” ?“Classic Experiments,?” ?“Can We Talk?,?” ?“Buzzers and Bells,?” ?“Hamburger Lab,?” Creepy Crawly Communication,?” and ?“Bubbles and Foam.?”
