Vision Statement

The Block Watch Advisory Board, as a non-profit organization in collaboration with the Phoenix Police Department, is engaged in the promotion and development of the Block Watch program throughout the city of Phoenix. The Board offers educational opportunities, provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, and initiates action plans throughout the community, which address local needs related to crime prevention. These activities are carried out with the interaction and involvement of diverse community groups, including youth, business and government.

Mission Statement

?• Assist in crime reduction through a cooperative partnership with the Phoenix Police Department;
?• Promote development of Block Watch groups and associations throughout the City of Phoenix;
?• Build partnerships within a diverse community;
?• Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas pertaining to crime prevention;
?• Develop and maintain a liaison between the community, the police department, and elected officials;
?• Incorporate youth as a component of the board;
?• Provide educational crime prevention opportunities to the community. . . ☻
