Car Theft Warning

Regarding your recent warning on auto theft, please make everyone aware of garage door openers left in cars.

We are all required by law to carry our registration and insurance in our cars, this is very convenient for thieves who also obtain the garage door openers, and they know where you live.

They are targeting areas where they know you will be away from your house for extended times periods, (i.e. America West Arena, Bank One, & Sky Harbor Airport).

An individual was a victim, their car was opened @ Sky Harbor via a "Slim Jim", when I returned from business trip I got into my car to drive home and realized something was wrong & became aware my garage door opener was missing.

I called the police from the airport who send a cruiser to my home address and sure enough it was completely cleaned out. Let everyone be aware of fairly new crime that is invading the valley. . . ☻
