I am a nursing student at a local private college. We have been assigned a community assessment project. I am doing the problematic head lice that local elementary schools are battling.
Are there any parents willing to share with me stories or concerns on the issue? Lice is very, very contagious and becoming a big problem at schools due to current treatments or noncompliance. After speaking with faculty's, it's become clear to me that some may want help in treating this pesky problem.
I had lice as a child and clearly remember how much of a pain it was! I am knowledgable on the issue and am willing to help educate.
