The residents of the Villages of Five Points need to band together and put a stop to the developer "Hudson" and drug store CVS from developing the property adjacent to the shopping center.  This is the empty lot to the left as you come into the community, the lot that we were told would be reserved for something to benefit the community not the pockets of the developer.  This lot was being held for a library or museum or other civic function.

Lets band together and fight this . . .

hi jim it is very difficult to organize although we did get lots of signatures yesterday. it is necessary to send letter to the editor of cape gazette as well as to county counsel .. in addition many board members do not represent our interest because they are the developers and the builders themselves . we need to get homeowners on t he board. date for county council mtg is March 30 @1 30  it was misprinted in paper . btw i have email address that i have started to collect so we can communicate with each other  but i wasn't able to edit it on the site jewels

I sent emails to all 5 members of the Sussex county council and the Sussex county czaer for planning and zonning additionally I sent an email to the reporter who wrote the article for the Cape Gazette telling him he needs to get the other side of the story meaning the residents of Five Points.

Council members are Samuel R. Wilson, Jr., Michael H. Vincent, Joan R. Deaver, George B. Cole and Vance C. Phillips

Zoning and planning czar Lawrence Lank

Cape Gazette reporter Ron MacArthur

I was surprised to learn about this attempt at re-zoning.  I'm not in favor of it.  Now, by what authority does the homeowner's board of directors speak for the residents?  Can anyone find anything in the bylaws about such representations?
