You might want to find a way to secure you porch plants. I had a rather large one taken last night, I think. I just noticed it this a.m. The light was on so that was not a deterrent. This was not a foot theft. Whoever it was had transportation.

A few years ago we had an ongoing problem w/plant theft at our house located at 2222 N. Ridgewood Ave. By the types of potted plants being stolen we made an assumption that they were being resold... possibly at a nearby flea market. So, I came up with an idea to mark the pots to make them less desirable for resale. Here's my tip... get a permanent marker and write on the bottom of each pot... ''Plant is stolen if not at (insert street address)''. We had one plant stolen after marking the pots... and thankfully nothing stolen since. We're going on about a 2 year run without any further plant theft.
