The 12th CONA Leadership classes starts soon and it is a very large class. It just goes to show you when you offer an important service and do a good job everyone wants to participate. The leadership classes have always been a success, this is because of the people who take time to help others. The Police Department, in a couple of weeks, will hold another Police Retreat. This is a follow up of the one held two years ago. Unfortunately, only those at the last retreat are being asked to attend this year. I have asked Dave Goodwin to set up a workshop on Site plans and make available any information that New Neighborhood Association Presidents may need when attending this workshop. To many times New Neighborhood Association Presidents are unable to make decisions, because they do not have enough information before they get to the workshop. Education is always the answer and we never too old to learn. The Visionary Meeting has been put off until a later date. By mistake it was scheduled on a day that City Council meets. These meetings look like they need to be held every other year. The new Executive Board will meet next week and start setting up the agenda for 2000. If anyone has something that needs to be addressed please contact one of these officers, this will help us make this year a great one. Have you been using CONA website on Neighborhood link? Conrad has been doing a great job keeping the website up to date with important CONA information. I hope to see this website become a Bulletin Board where all of our meetings are posted and everyone starts to use it. See you on the January 19th at the Times Building!
