I know many of you think if you cut back your palm trees to give them a better chance of surviving the harsh winds of a possilbe hurricane in the Tampa area this season.  Not only does it look ridiculous to see palm trees with a "mowhawk" cut, it starves them of the nutrients they need to remain strong while standing up strong to hurricane winds.   Ironically, you hinder the chances they survive and increase the safety risk.  Our 20 years as a Tampa tree trimming company has given us ample opportunity to experience this pheonominon over and over again.
