Pool Party Follies



Somebody up there must not like us. For the second year in a row we had bad weather arriving in the middle of the pool party. At precisely 12:11 pm (11 minutes after the start time of the party) we had our first thundershowers. True it did give a chance to use the awnings we had gotten but that was not quite the idea we had in mind.
Between the raindrops we managed to have quite a bit of fun including a pinata for the younger set. Overseen by (who else?) The Chair of the Rules Committtee, Alison Hofmann!
Marty Weinman was once again our intrepid chef whom no mere thunderstorm could interfere with. Sandra Henderson and her guest entertained on drums.
Of course we did lose a few party goers during the tornado warning (can't think why?)
Next year we're going to try for hail, too. Just to check on everyone's "wimp out" level.
