Alvernon Heights Neighborhood Association

Our Green belt project will put side walks thru about a fifth of our 40 block neighborhood. This is the beginning of putting sidewalks thru all of Keeling.
Q. Would you be willing to,
1. Assist in obtaining more grant money to do more?
2. participate in a development district?
3. put in your own?

I would be willing to do anything I could asside from giving my own money to do so.  I currently rent and have no wiggle room in my budget but becasue I take public transporattaionand walk through my neighborhood frequently I am often forced to ealk my 3 month old out in the oad becaue I am also avoiding the cars that are parked on the sides of the road.  If we had sidewalks i would use them and in turn be in less danger of being hit, especailly in the evening when it gets dark since we have few if any streetlights
