AT&T Wireless for the Community Program
AT&T Wireless Services’ "Wireless For The Community" program allows non-profit organizations within AT&T Wireless Services’ Colorado service area to request free use of cellular phones and unlimited local airtime for a two-year period as a communications tool to increase the effectiveness of their community programs. 125 organizations throughout Colorado are currently participating in the program.

In 1996, AT&T announced the AT&T CARES Community Service Program providing the opportunity for every AT&T employee around the world one paid workday to perform a community service. AT&T Cares Colorado participates in three to four major one-day projects annually. Maybe we can help you.

AT&T Wireless Loaner Phone Program
AT&T Wireless Services has a fleet of cellular loaner phones and pagers available free for short term use (typically 3-10 days) by bona fide non-profit Colorado 501(c)(3) organizations or neighborhood associations who can clearly show non-profit status. The phones are loaned to support organizations' special events aimed at fund raising or raising community awareness of the organization.

AT&T Foundation Grants
AT&T makes corporate contributions throughout the year in the form of project-specific financial support to nonprofit organizations in communities where AT&T has a significant presence. AT&T's Public Relations office in Denver, reviews contribution requests for local consideration, and coordinates grant requests to the AT&T Foundation. In 1997, education and transportation-related programs received more than half of AT&T's budgeted funds in this area.

Safe Schools Program
AT&T Safe Schools provides anytime, anywhere communication to schools - making the learning environment safer for students and educators. AT&T Safe Schools puts wireless phones directly in the hands of school personnel who are responsible for the safety of children. These phones are available to adults to call 911 in an emergency, contact the main office for assistance and for any other communication needs that will help keep students safe.
