Who should attend: Anyone interested in bicycle travel or thinking of taking a bicycle trip in the USA or abroad for a weekend, a week, a month or even longer. Topics will include flying with a bike, what and how to pack for an extended bike trip, planning an itinerary, avoiding dangers, useful gear, packing light, overcoming foreign currency and language barriers, and other issues important to bicycle travelers. Questions are invited during the presentation and discussion periods. Those with experience traveling by bicycle are encouraged to attend and offer their own personal tips for a successful journey.
