Teen Academy
TPD Accepting Youth Academy Candidates
The Tucson Police Department announced it is now accepting applications for the Teen Citizens' Police Academy through August 29th. Students ages 13-17-years-old may apply for the free course. The class is limited to 40 students.
Applications
Applications are available at police headquarters, 270 South Stone, from their school's resource office or online
Dates
The academy begins September 15th and ends October 27th. The curriculum includes laws against driving while intoxicated, drug awareness, juvenile laws, problem solving and leadership and first aid and firearms safety.
