Centennial Elem./FW Jr. High Schools Sidewalk Project (7/29)

Congratulations to Pima County & the Flowing Wells Neighborhood

Association and Community Coalition.

On December 19, 2008, The State Transportation Board approved the Round 16 recommendations as forwarded by the Transportation Enhancement Review Committee.

This $500,000 grant covers the sidewalk project for both of these schools. This project was ranked #1 in the Arizona.

Arizona Department of Transportation staff is anxious to move this project forward.

Updated info 7/15: The sidewalk design will begin in the fall 2009 with construction anticipated in 2011.
