CERTIFICATION OF ELECTIONS -- 2006

Election Results – 2006
Hereby, I, Susan Gloudeman, duly elected Secretary of the Fox Canyon Neighborhood Association, CERTIFY the election results of October 10, 2006 for the Board of Directors seats and the CHTC yearly seat, as reported by Jose Lopez, Association’s President and Inspector of Elections.
Hereby, I, Jose Lopez, Association President and appointed Inspector of Elections by the Board of Directors, announce the following election results:
• As per the Bylaws, all candidates are elected and appointed to have a two-year term, with the exception of the CHTC seat which is an annual appointment and NOT regulated by the association Bylaws.
• Twenty-nine [29] ballots were cast from which the “YES” were paired against the “NO”, casting aside all “blank” votes to pick the elected, or appointed.
• ONE association member was elected, THREE association members were re-elected and TWO association members were re-appointed as follow:
1. Ms. Rosilyn Davis, Castle Avenue, received 22 YES and 5 NO [2 blank] votes, and was elected.
2. Mr. Thomas Du, Euclid Avenue, received 21 YES and 6 NO [2 blank] votes and was re-elected.
3. Ms. Mercedes Martinez-Shetter, Auburn Drive [pork-chop], received 25 YES and 1 NO [3 blank] votes and was re-elected.
4. Mr. Jose [Jesse] Chavez, Lantana Drive, received 29 YES and NO, “NO” votes and was unanimously [100%] re-elected.
5. Mr. Mauro Diaz, Auburn Drive, received 24 YES and 5 NO votes and was re-appointed.
6. Ms. Gretchen Torgerson received 17 YES and 12 NO votes and was re-appointed to the CHTC yearly seat.
