Metro Orange County Clubs & Organizations Rebuilding Together Orange County Newsletter 4-2-2002 Maximizing Volunteer Impact Rebuilding Together volunteers can now double their impact in the community. While working on a Rebuilding Day 2002 project site, they can also raise funds through the Build-a-Thon Pledge Drive. All volunteers are encouraged to participate, gathering tax-deductible pledges from friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor their hard work - much the same as the well-known "Walk-a-thons." Following the Rebuilding Day, volunteers collect the pledges and return donations to RTOC headquarters. Build-a-thon participants will be honored at the volunteer recognition celebration. Awards will be presented to the highest earning pledge collectors.
