Metro Phoenix Clubs & Organizations Is What It Is Productions Newsletter 11-2-2004 Lights...camera...what? Making a movie, it turns out, is equally as time consuming and difficult as staging a play. Who knew?! Fortunately, it's also equally as fun and rewarding. Tech director Michael Peck has sweat and bled his usual gallon building a catacomb for THE CASK OF AMONTILLADO...actors are slaving away at lines and character development...and yours truly is here updating websites as ususal. All in a day's work! Everyone here at IWII is excited to see our final product on the "big screen" (that's a 100 inch diagonal screen) at Studio One. It's unlike anything IWII has done before, but we're all confident our audience will have a great time! You purists are not to fear -- IWII will produce its next stage play in March 2005. It will be an original work, produced once before in 1992, and since then completely rewritten. We don't want to give anything much away, but be assured it's a departure from the norm that still falls well within our mission statement. It will be a rough ride, but the conclusion will be worth it! Come out and support the film festival! Tickets are only $5, and we'll have DVD copies of the whole show for $15 at the show, or through the mail if you can't make a performance. Hope to see you there!
