Newsletter 6-29-2005 ESSI Advance Team in Thailand for Summer 2005 The advance team for the ESSI Summer 2005 Thailand project is on the ground in Nan Province. Two reports have been sent back and posted to the ESSI webpage under the new "Our PDFs" section in the green sidebar of the homepage. The PDF format allows for including more photos with the articles. This is a big improvement over the newsletter page that has a 1 photo per story limit. Please see the Situation Report and the First Field Report posted as PDFs. In addition to preparing the way for the rest of the ESSI Summer 2005 Thailand volunteers, the advance team is setting the foundation for the ESSI RTC (Rural Training Center) - Thailand. They will recruit a core group of ESSI Thai volunteers and set up basic sustainable agricultural demonstration sites in the Ban Na Fa area outside of Thawangpha City, Nan Province, Thailand.
