Supported Employment Software

Developed by the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University, this software assists people with disabilities in the management of work incentives, health benefits, wages, and SSA rules and regulations.

The WorkWORLD software was developed to help a person and their family understand the impact earning or increased earnings will have on their benefits. "What if" scenarios can be run to test the impact on the person's benefits based on different amounts of earned income. The software also provides information and suggestions on the use of PASS and IRWE plans to further reduce the impact of earned income on benefits. Information and examples of the WorkWORLD software can be found at www.WorkWORLD.org. This software can be downloaded for free after filling out a user agreement. The Colorado DD Planning Council also has a copy available for use. Call 720-941-0176.
