All Iowa to enjoy Spay Neuter Assistance Soon

IOWA is one of many other states creating a program to furnish all Iowans with financial assistance for spaying and neutering. SPAY/USA, Esther Mechler, is the force behind this movement across the USofA.

Ms. Pat Farrant of the Johnson County Humane Society is the chairman working to put this program together for Iowa. Veterinarians across Iowa need to be found who will join in the program to bring assistance to pet owners.

The first three caring veterinarians who have joined SPAY/IOWA is Dr. Joseph Seng of the St. Franacis Clinic in Davenport Iowa, Dr. Jennifer Doll of Animals All About in Solon Iowa and Dr. Anne Gard of the Cat Guardian Spay Neuter Clinic in Oxford Junction in Iowa. Veterinarians are needed from all four corners of the state. Should you be a veterinarian or know of a particularly caring veterinarian who might be interested in joining the project, please call Ms. Farrant of the Johnson County Humane County (Iowa City) at 319-337-2928.
