Hero for the American Red Cross

Become a “Hero for the American Red Cross”

Earlier this year, the Greater Toledo Area Chapter
expanded an annual fundraising campaign entitled
“Heroes for the American Red Cross.” The Heroes
campaign first began last fall as a means of fundraising in our Wood County district office.

Because the campaign was quite well-received,
we decided to expand it into an annual giving campaign throughout our three-county service area. The goal is to raise $100,000 to continue
our services in Lucas, Wood and Ottawa counties.

Since January,
we have had some notable successes with this expanded initiative:
• Every paid staff member at the Greater Toledo Chapter has chosen to give to the Heroes campaign.
• Members of the Board of Directors have contributed a total of $25,000 to the campaign.
• As of November 16, we have raised around $60,000 for the local Red Cross through the Heroes campaign.

Thank you to everyone who has already given to this campaign! To find out how you can become a Hero for the American Red Cross, call us at
419-352-4575.
