A change was made for it’s tabulation in 1990 and that change is as follows: The first eight scores, an average is used. From 8-15 qualifying scores, the highest and the lowest score is dropped and the rest averaged. From 16-23 qualifying scores, the two highest and the two lowest score are dropped and rest averaged, ect. Eight (8) qualifying scores are required to win the Open Scoreboard.
