Pack 104 Shows off its Colors

The Providence Hebrew Day School was the setting February 19th for the Pack 104 Blue and Gold Dinner. Our Cub master, Russ Raskin hosted the evening with his usual entertaining wit that we have all come to know and love. The entertainment continued with a magic show, a collaboration of a Webelos Scout and a Tiger Scout. Yet another one of our Webelos Scouts entlightened us with his D'Var Torah on Parahas Yisro. The Cub Scouts gave their Den leaders, parents and a number of granparents and other releatives a reason to be proud as a great number of awards were handed out. A new award was given in recognition of Scout spirit for those who wear their uniforms proudly at each Den meeting. The Webelos of Den 3 were presented with their long awaited Aleph medals, Webelos badges, compass badges and several other awards. Two Wolf Scouts received their Wolf badges while still others received beads and belt loops. The Tigers were acknowledged as well for their accomplishments. Several adults were also recognized for their efforts. The Pack showed their appreciation to the Providence Hebrew Day School for their ongoing support as the Webelos Souts in attendance presented a new American flag to the school. The evening would bot have been possible were it not for the work of Mr. and Mrs. Weiner who took care of the food, form planning the menu, procring the food and serving at the dinner. Their dedication is truly an inspiration to us all.
