Chiang Mai University, Thailand (Major: Political Science; Minor: Psychology) 1999 NCGE Annual Conference, Chicago, IL 2002 Leadership Forum, Bangkok, Thailand 2003 Joint Ventures: Partners in Stewardship, Los Angeles, CA Experience I served six years (1996-2002) in the Royal Thai Ministry of Interior as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Tha Ko Subdistrict Administration Organization, Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. I had primary responsibilities for economic development, education, environment, job training, infrastructure project management (roads, bridges, and electricity), community services, coordinating local emergency services, and supervising local elections. I was the Earth Systems Science, Inc. (ESSI) Director of Programs (2003-2005) and was responsible for overall general project administration and coordinating logistical support functions. I also served as the primary coordinator for ESSI international projects in Thailand. In summer 2004, I helped create the Rural Environmental Education Enhancement Pilot Program (REEEPP) and started the Rural Training Center-Thailand. I served as the principal coordinator for the successful ESSI summer 2005 Thailand volunteer project that lead to the formal establishment of the RTC-TH. I am now Co-director of the Rural Training Center (RTC) and the Rural Environmental Education Enhancement Pilot Program (REEEPP) in northern Thailand.
