Organizational Information
NEDCO was incorporated in the State of Arizona on October 27, 1997; it is a tax exempt charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Service Code, Section 501 (c) (3)




Mission Statement
Neighborhood Economic Development Corporation (NEDCO) is a non-profit Community Development Corporation in Mesa whose mission is to foster economic development in Mesa's low and moderate income neighborhoods. NEDCO provides neighborhood groups with technical assistance to support sustainable grass-roots neighborhood economic development projects. This technical assistance has three components: 1) training neighborhood groups in community development best practices; 2) implementation of neighborhood economic initiatives and projects: 3) raising capital-small business and project capital through a Community Loan Fund ( a Community Development Financial Institution or ''CDFI''); and family capital through Individual Development Accounts.
